The countdown to the Lawrence Antique & Vintage Show is officially on, and we are thrilled to share an exciting new series with you. Beginning next week, we’ll be rolling out vendor and dealer profiles that highlight the incredible people, collections, and stories behind the treasures you’ll discover at the show.

The Lawrence Antique & Vintage Show will take place on November 21–22, 2025, and it promises to be a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and the art of collecting. Every year, this event brings together a unique community of dealers who specialize in everything from elegant glassware and fine china to rustic farmhouse finds, mid-century modern décor, vintage jewelry, postcards, toys, textiles, and so much more. This year, we’re giving you a sneak peek into their worlds before you step foot on the show floor.

Why Vendor Profiles?

One of the most rewarding parts of attending an antique and vintage show is the opportunity to connect directly with the people behind the booths. Every item has a story, but so does every dealer. Many have been collecting for decades, learning the ins and outs of estates, auctions, and markets. Others are second or even third-generation dealers who grew up with antiques as part of their family’s lifestyle.

By sharing these profiles, we want to:

  • Introduce you to the vendors before the show. You’ll know exactly which booths you don’t want to miss.

  • Share the passion behind the collections. From hunting down rare finds to restoring forgotten pieces, our dealers are true custodians of history.

  • Highlight variety. Whether your style leans toward traditional, industrial, rustic, or eclectic, you’ll see that the show has something for everyone.

A Diverse Mix of Dealers

The Lawrence Antique & Vintage Show draws in a wide variety of vendors from across Kansas and the surrounding region. Each one brings a personal touch and perspective to their booth. Here’s just a glimpse of the kinds of stories we’ll be sharing in the upcoming vendor profile series:

  • The Longtime Collector – Dealers who have spent 40+ years building a collection and know the ins and outs of rare categories like Staffordshire dogs, stoneware crocks, or vintage signage.

  • The Family Tradition – Multi-generational dealers who learned the business from parents or grandparents and are now carrying on the passion for antiques.

  • The Niche Specialist – Vendors who focus on one category, such as antique postcards, advertising tins, or mid-century furniture, and are eager to share their knowledge.

  • The Treasure Hunters – Those who thrive on the thrill of the estate sale hunt, always turning up one-of-a-kind finds.

With each profile, we’ll share not only what they sell but also a little about who they are—what got them into the antiques world, what their favorite find has been, and what they’re most excited to bring to Lawrence this year.

What to Expect from the Profiles

Each week leading up to the show, we’ll spotlight several vendors right here on our blog and across our social media channels. You’ll see photos of some of the treasures they’re planning to bring, learn about their backgrounds, and even hear their tips for new collectors.

By show weekend, you’ll already feel like you’ve met many of the vendors—and that makes for a much more personal and rewarding experience when you walk into their booths
